Tired but Hopeful

I’m tired.

I’m tired of being the enthusiastic one.

I’m tired of excuses without apologizes.

I’m tired of leaning in with men who don’t.

I’m tired of my expressed needs going unmet.

I’m tired of not trusting my gut instincts.

I’m tired.

And yet…

I’m hopeful.

I’m hopeful that experiences bring growth.

I’m hopeful that I will find intentionality.

I’m hopeful that my value will be seen.

I’m hopeful that someone will match my energy.

I’m hopeful that my story has a happy ending.

I’m hopeful.
