Favorite Things 2022
7 years ago I hosted a favorite things ‘shopping party’ and it was SO MUCH FUN! I decided it was time to host another one not long ago, and I plan to make it an annual event, because it’s a great way to break up the Minnesota winter that seems to last FOREVER!
The basics of the event is that everyone brings 5 of an identical item within a certain price range. Then, you go in rounds through everyone who gets to ‘shop’ for one item at a time. So you bring 5 and go home with 5 of your choosing. The quantity and price can move, depending on how accessible you’d like the party to be.
As was the case last party, I wanted one of everything – ha! Other people who couldn’t make it were also curious what made the ‘favorites’ list. So, here is that post. These are the favorite things from this year’s party.

To make things EVEN easier as a host, I also had ‘bring your favorite potluck item’ and boy did we have some yummy dishes!
Despite all the fun items and yummy goodies… my favorite thing is all the AMAZING people in my life and the opportunity to spend time with them. Even if we just do ridiculous TikTok moves and laugh until our faces hurt.
